Himmatwala Movie Review

Himmatwala Movie Review

By Gayatri Sankar
As the film opens with Sonakshi Sinha grooving to a disco number doing a Parveen Babi and Sridevi, you will certainly be left to anticipate a typical retro-styled film with comedy, action, ‘melo’drama, naach-gaana around matkis andgagris all in equal proportion.

Sajid Khan’s “entertainer” ‘Himmatwala’ starring Ajay Devgn has all the ingredients of a mindless masala film. But it does jolt you at regular intervals, for sopping up a 30-year-old formula, proves fatal to your contemporary digestive system!

Ravi (Ajay Devgn) is an action master, who earns his livelihood by showing his muscle power at a club run in Mumbai by an ardent fan of Pop Legend Michael Jackson- Michael Jaikishen (Chunky Pandey). And on one odd day, the son of Rampur, Ravi decides to visit his birthplace. He goes in search of his grief-stricken mother Savitri (Zareena Wahab) and sister Padma (Leela Jumani), only to find them in dire straits. And that is when his mother narrates to him the tale of her miseries.

Savitri wants her son Ravi to settle the scores with Sher Singh (Mahesh Manjrekar), the merciless landlord, who has used his position and wealth to suppress the villagers. Sher Singh, the greedy zameendar, is assisted by his brother-in-law Narayan Das (Paresh Rawal). And at his mother’s behest, Ravi is all set to avenge his enemies.

The film revives a tattered and a bizarre formula that may work at the Box Office but will rattle sensibilities.

Nonetheless, performances of certain characters make the film bearable. Paresh Rawal as Narayan Das is outstanding. He literally reminds you of comic legend Kader Khan and his witty dialogues, something that has been missing in films these days. Rawal’s impeccable performance in the film proves that character artists are either not being used appropriately or rather being abused nowadays.

Filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar has done a commendable job as an actor in the film. Tamannaah Bhatia as Rekha looks very promising. She is pretty, delicate and good at her job. And last but not the least, Ajay Devgn, without whom the film wouldn’t have been possible, will enthrall his fans yet again. He is thoroughly entertaining and looks mighty fit even at 43!

And the one to have made Ajay - the invincible ‘Himmatwala’, Sajid Khan has indeed produced an “entertainer” (a film devoid of cinematic aesthetics). The filmmaker doesn’t really believe in winning applause from critics, for he makes films solely with the intention of entertaining the audiences. And rightly so - to each his own! But one needs to find some sense even in utterly contrived situations…no??

The comedy sequences do their bit and so do the breathtaking action sequences. Fans of Devgn can look forward to his fist fight with a tiger and get swayed into the world of fantasies. But the portions where Zarina Wahab mouths “sentimental” dialogues (though they are meant to make you go teary eyed), you can’t help but burst into laughter.

The songs ‘Naino Mein Sapna’ and ‘Taki Taki’ are refreshing. But the ‘Dhokha’ song featuring divas from the television world looks forced.

In totality, the film is a typical masala entertainer, as director Sajid Khan would like to put it. You will certainly get entertained only if you had nursed the desire to travel back in time, especially to an era when cinema revolved around a helpless mother-daughter duo and their life-savior ‘Himmatwala’.

One and half for the film and half a star more for Paresh Rawal.

The 39-year-old is deeply involved with the post production work of the film, directed by Rakesh Roshan.

Go Goa Gone: first poster

Go Goa Gone: first poster:

http://www.hindustantimes.com/Images/popup/2013/3/Go-Goa-Gone-poster2.jpgJust hours after the first look of the film was revealed, Go Goa Gone also released its pirst poster on Monday. Saif Ali Khan says, "I loved Boris from the first time I discovered him. He is tough and cool, but also very funny. He has a good heart and is brave. The dynamics between him and the boys is hysterical. I was very excited to play Boris the zombie hunter and even happier to produce this film."

Go Goa Gone is a unique combination of fear and funny, which makes this film a one-of-a-kind genre bender. Hardik (Kunal) and Luv (Vir) are two dope heads who tag along to Goa with their best buddy, Bunny (Anand), on his business trip. Luv comes across a free-spirited girl, Luna (Puja Gupta) who casually invites them to an exclusive underground rave party on a remote island! The party is the brainchild of the macho Russian Mafioso, Boris (Saif), to launch the ultimate party drug.
But something is not right on this island! All of a sudden, they are accosted by zombies! Where did these zombies come from? And who is Boris really? And why has this cold-hearted drug-dealing don come to save their lives? Together they need to get the hell out of the infected island! But do they?

"We should never forget that cinema is ever evolving and so is the nature of our audience. It is this fact that makes it pertinent for filmmakers to make cinema that is out of the box and a complete entertainer. This is the very attempt we have made with Go Goa Gone," says Sunil Lulla, producer, Eros International.

The film is also written by Raj and DK along with Sita Menon, who have previously made the widely acclaimed film, Shor In The City. Sachin-Jigar have composed the music for the film.

Ajay Devgn takes on a real tiger for Himmatwala

Ajay Devgn takes on a real tiger for

Himmatwala:

Back in the day, Amitabh Bachchan took on a real tiger in a stunt sequence in Mr. Natwarlal (1979). Of course, those were the days before CGI. In a surprising move, now, Ajay Devgn has repeated the stunt for his next, Himmatwala.
Director Sajid Khan says, “For the tiger-fighting scene, we flew to Mauritius. There’s a tiger farm there, where all the tigers that are used in films are trained by professionals, and the stunts are performed under their guidance.”
Sajid reveals that he had suggested a body double for Ajay, but the actor insisted on performing the stunt himself. “Ajay was quite kicked about it. We shot with the tiger for seven days, out of which three days went in shooting Ajay’s hand-to-hand combat sequences. There was a huge cage with Ajay, the tiger and four trainers inside, which was later digitally erased.” We wonder if Ajay suffered any injuries during the shoot. “He got a few scratches here and there, but the major scratch was on his neck, which bled a bit,” Sajid says.

About the experience, Ajay says, “It was quite difficult to shoot the sequence, but we had taken all the necessary safety precautions and permissions. We are sure that the audience will love it.” The film releases on March 29.

Bipasha Basu went through hell during 'Aatma' shoot: Suparn Verma

Bipasha Basu went through hell during 'Aatma' shoot: Suparn Verma

New Delhi: Suparn Verma's upcoming venture 'Aatma' blends elements of domestic violence with horror and the director says lead actress Bipasha Basu went through hell emotionally while shooting the film.
Bipasha Basu went through hell during 'Aatma' shoot: Suparn Verma
'Aatma' has actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead alongside Bipasha. The film also stars Shernaz Patel and child actress Doyel Dhawan in supporting roles.
"Both the actors were willing to go into the unsafe zone that they have never been in before. For Nawaz it was a very deep personal space that he had to go in and get totally psyched about. Bipasha has gone through hell emotionally during the making of 'Aatma'."
VideoPhotoGallery
'Aatma' stars Bipasha Basu as a single mother and Nawazuddin Siddique as her husband.
"I mean it has traumatised both the actors. It has traumatised me while writing it and I can only imagine what impact it will have on the audience," Suparn told PTI.
When asked why he zeroed down upon the two actors to be part of his film, the 38-year-old filmmaker said, "I signed Bipasha before 'Raaz 3' happened. We began shooting four months after the release of the film, which is good for us because it was a huge hit."
"And I signed Nawaz after 'Kahaani'. 'Gangs of Wasseypur' happened while we were two months into shooting. I did not base my casting on their last films. I chose them as per the requirements of the roles," said Suparn.

The journalist-turned-filmmaker made an entry into Bollywood as a writer for the 2002 film 'Chhal'. He made his directorial debut with Fardeen Khan starrer 'Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena' in 2005 and then followed it up with multi-starrer 'Acid Factory' four years later in 2009.

He has also written the screenplay for other thrillers including 'Karam', 'Zameen' and 'Qayamat'.

'Aatma' stars Bipasha as a single mother and Nawazuddin as her husband, who comes to take away their daughter after his death.
"It has a simple story line - the mother and father are fighting and the father has come back to take the daughter but the big spin is that he is dead. The whole tussle is of love but with love also comes horror because when love goes wrong you have casualties," Suparn said.
'Aatma' will hit theatres on March 22.

3G The Movie Review

3G The Movie Review

Cast: Neil Nitin Mukesh, Sonal Chauhan, Mrinalini Sharma

Directors: Sheershak Anand, Shantanu Ray Chhibber

The line between a psychological thriller and a horror film is not thin, so if you set the basic premise as the former then the sudden transition to the latter would look like an abrupt decision to wrap up the story within a limited time period. The directors lose the grip on the narrative the moment they decide to switch over to the darker side, and this happens despite establishing a believable backdrop.
VideoPhotoGallery
The characters break into a song when they are required the least, it obstructs the story from touching heights.
The basic storyline has Sam Arora (Neil Nitin Mukesh) and Sheena (Sonal Chauhan) at the helm of affairs who decide to spend their vacation in Fiji. There, Sam buys a second hand phone with 3G facilities but that phone doesn't prove to be lucky for him as he starts seeing unknown people (Don't remember 'The Sixth Sense').
Things become more complicated when Sam begins to show the symptoms of split personality disorder. As expected, the couple moves out of their cosy hotel room to find out the truth behind the phone. They get to a point where they will encounter the most shocking revelation of their lifetime. Well, you can always ask why they didn't go the police or the psychiatrist.
Doesn't the story sound familiar? Yes, we have seen films based on similar themes in the past, and that experience has given us the strength to predict the movement and the structure of the story. So, unless and until the audience finds the secretive element mesmerising, he is not going to keep the film in his sub-conscious for long.
On the outset, '3G' has all the basic ingredients of a 'masala' film, exotic locations, good looking people and an imaginative cinematographer, but they lack the adhesive of acting when amalgamated together.
The casting is not bad as Neil Nitin Mukesh looks like a well to do urban professional, similarly Sonal Chauhan suits the requirements of a typical heroine but their reactions are questionable in the moments of tension.
Such films do rely on the shocking value of the background score but an overdose of it has hampered the fluidity. This penchant for giving shocks on part of the directors has led to another interesting situation. Neil Nitin Mukesh and Sonal Chauhan don't face each other even during the intimate moments, ok this can be accepted but he or she invariably looks towards the other person's face once the dialogue is over, which means after one point of time the viewer starts to anticipate their exact reaction time and moment. This seems funny when the heroine waits to give out the scared expressions.
The chemistry between Neil and Sonal is visible in the songs but Sonal doesn't match up to the expectations in other scenes, her dialogue delivery with a flat face is a let down.
It is Neil Nitin who keeps the story from completely falling apart. He has tried his best to do justice to his character but there are things that the directors needed to explain. The swift alterations of Neil's mood should have been backed up by proper logic, at least when the back-stories are at play. The secondary characters make it more difficult with their highly dramatic third person narrations. You see, mouthing dialogues with extra pauses is not always necessary to create suspense.
Mrinalini Sharma and Ashish are not bad but the lack of depth in their characterisation restricts them from excelling. The parallel cutting towards the end could have been a face saver if the makers could have given solid reasoning behind the proceedings.
The writer has done one smart thing by concentrating the entire film around Neil's character as he is in his elements (those who have seen the film would remember the scene for a long time where he personifies the crucified Jesus), but he couldn't do anything in absence of support from the fellow actors.
Mithoon has composed some melodious tunes for '3G', 'Kaise bataoon' and 'Khalbali' need special mentions, but they have not been used judiciously. The characters break into a song when they are required the least, it obstructs the story from touching the correct heights.
The images are glossy and the audiences are spared some uselessly distorted faces but it's not like the fear of unknown. A desperate attempt in the end to give some 'meaning' to the film doesn't go down well with the story either.
Overall, '3G' is about a failed prop which was supposed to clutch the sequences. And, there is a limit to ogling at postcard images, so the talks of it being one of the better horror films of recent times are not wise. Watch it at your own risk or for Neil Nitin Mukesh.
Rating: 2 out of 5.

JOLLY L.L.B Movie Review

JOLLY L.L.B Movie Review:

Director : Subhash Kapoor
Music : Krsna
Lyrics : Subhash Kapoor and Vayu
Starring : Boman Irani, Arshad Warsi, Amrita Rao and Saurabh Shukla
March 14, 2013 04:17:36 PM IST
By Martin D'Souza, Glamsham Editorial

In 2001, Cardinal Jorge Bergoglio spoke of the contrast between ''poor people who are persecuted for demanding work, and rich people who are applauded for fleeing from justice.''
JOLLY L.L.B. is one of those movies that sock you right where it hurts! It does not only sock you, you also double up in realization of what you already knew all this time, or rather had a vague idea of as far as how the rich and mighty view the judicial system. The above quote actually encompasses what director Subhash Kapoor is trying to say.

JOLLY LLB is brilliance personified for two reasons. The promos fooled you into it being a comedy and two, Kapoor, who is also the writer, deals with a very serious issue, with a mild twist of comedy and sacarsm. Mind you, it's easy to get carried away and take the position of preacher rather than teacher. But to Kapoor's credit, he sticks to his domain, making clever use of comedy to offset the killer punch to the solar plexus he has in store towards the end.

CHECK OUT: Arshad Warsi arrives on a scooter at JOLLY LLB Premiere

In the end, you just applaud the work of a genius. A story well told and an issue well presented.

When you walk in to view this movie, do pay special attention to a garlanded photo frame near a canteen stall inside a court premises and a quick conversation between the judge (Saurabh Shukla) and high-society lawyer Rajpal (Boman Irani), just before a trial.

The garlanded photo frame is screenplay at its brilliant best. In just a few seconds, a super story is told which weighs down heavily until the end. And the conversation between Rajpal and the judge comes at a time when there is an interesting twist in the hit-and-run case. You actually feel the helplessness of Jagdish Tyagi aka Jolly (Arshad Warsi) who is waiting to take on the might of Rajpal.

Kapoor has shown his class right from his first film, SAY SALAAM INDIA, which released in the summer of 2007. It was a small film with a big heart. But it was PHAS GAYE RE OBAMA in 2010, which really shot him into the limelight. With JOLLY LLB, he has firmly established his credentials as a writer/director of repute.

view JOLLY L.L.B. stills

After MUNNABHAI and ISHQIYA, Arshad Warsi packs a mean punch in this film as Jolly, the underdog lawyer, who takes on the might of Rajpal. Appeal becomes 'apple' in his PIL and prosecution becomes 'prostitution'. But this Meerut-bred lawyer hits the highway when he sees loopholes in a hit-and-run case involving the scion of an influential business family who is let free for lack of evidence.

In the PIL, Rajpal too sees his chance to get even with his client. But as the case progresses, Rajpal realizes that he is up against a tough nut to crack. The dialogues between the two lawyers in the heat-of-the moment are 'very real'. The scene where the judge flies off his chair is worth going miles to see, for its sheer brilliance in its execution.

Boman Irani stands tall as he delivers one of his best roles ever. A haughty lawyer who has scant respect for the law. Rather, a lawyer, who knows how to play within the loopholes within the law to come out trumps in the worst of cases. Mean, conniving and steely cold. He leaves you gasping for breath with his audacity to prove someone innocent, who actually is as guilty as hell.

CHECK OUT: Arshad Warsi is conscious about JOLLY L.L.B.

But it is Saurabh Shukla as the judge who Kapoor uses as his weapon of mass destruction. Saying anything more of his character here would spoil the movie for you. But hats off to Shukla for essaying such a complex role with dexterity. You don't know which way he will roll until he rolls. And his line towards the end is a chilling reminder of how evidence is what is required to nail an accused. ''I know the case from day one,'' he tells the packed courtroom. ''But I wait for that one piece of evidence which will help me make a favorable judgment. That evidence never comes.''

Where Kapoor falters (very badly) is in the two songs he incorporates forcefully into the script. Everything is flowing smoothly, so why this unnecessary interruption? If it was meant to add glamour, it fails. It is needless succumbing to commercialization of films.

JOLLY LLB for Oscars may seem far-fetched within the industry big-wigs who prefer big names with far poorer content (EKLAVYA, BARFI!). But if this movie is favored, believe me; our judicial system will be fast-tracked and feared like in the west.

Go for it, you will leave the courtroom satisfied!

New Windows 8 Operating System, Same Security Challenges

New Windows 8 Operating System, Same Security Challenges

With the launch of the new Surface Pro tablet, there has been a lot of talk about Microsoft’s new Windows 8 operating system and the way its touch-friendly interface changes traditional PC computing. Security threats, on the other hand, are no different on Windows 8 than any other operating system – and the complexity and constant evolution of these threats often leave consumers in the dark when it comes to the security of their devices.

The good news is that Microsoft improved security on Windows 8 with a built-in antivirus product, Windows Defender, to provide basic protection against malware. But basic antivirus isn’t enough to fully protect against sophisticated online threats. In fact, Microsoft Security Essentials – which uses the same virus definitions as Windows Defender – recently failed to meet minimum malware protection and repair standards established by AV-TEST, an independent IT-security institute.

The reality is that no operating system can fully protect against malware and online threats, and Windows 8 is no exception. When an operating system like Windows 8 rolls out new security features, cybercriminals simply find new ways around them. Malware is like water; it follows the path of least resistance.

Consumers on Windows 8 are still susceptible to a range of third-party software vulnerabilities, malware and even social engineering scams. According to the 2012 Norton Cybercrime Report, one in 10 social network users have fallen victim to scams or malicious links on social network platforms. Windows Defender simply can’t protect against these types of social engineering attacks. It’s important that consumers recognize its limitations and take steps to ensure their personal information remains safe.

Consumers need to protect their new Windows 8 devices – and the personal information on them – by choosing the right security. Security suites such as Avast Internet Security, Norton | Symantec, Bitdefender Internet Security and Kaspersky Internet Security are designed to provide strong protection against viruses, spyware and threats. These products are capable of detecting and blocking threats that Windows Defender fails to recognize.

Many security vendors also offer comprehensive solutions designed for users with multiple devices. Norton 360 Multi Device is a worthy option because it protects up to five PCs, Macs and Android devices with a single solution. Users can add or remove devices, download updates and manage protection over the Internet.

The bottom line is that Windows 8, like all operating systems, faces significant security challenges. If you plan to invest in a new device, take steps to protect it.

Self Healing Smartphones To Hit The Feild Soon

Self Healing Smartphones To Hit The Feild Soon

Imagine if your smartphone or computer could repair on its own!

It might sound like the stuff of science fiction as engineers at the California Institute of Technology, for the first time ever, have developed self-healing integrated chips.
It means your smartphones or computers can repair and defend themselves on the fly, recovering in microseconds from problems ranging from less-than-ideal battery power to total transistor failure.
The team demonstrated this self-healing capability in tiny power amplifiers, which are so small, in fact, that 76 of the chips 'including everything they need to self-heal' could fit on a single penny.
They destroyed various parts of their chips by zapping them multiple times with a high-power laser, and then observed as the chips automatically developed a work-around in less than a second.
"It was incredible the first time the system kicked in and healed itself. It felt like we were witnessing the next step in the evolution of integrated circuits," said Ali Hajimiri, the Thomas G Myers Professor of Electrical Engineering at Caltech.
"We had literally just blasted half the amplifier and vaporised many of its components, such as transistors, and it was able to recover to nearly its ideal performance," said Hajimiri in a statement.
Until now, even a single fault has often rendered an integrated-circuit chip completely useless. Engineers wanted to give integrated-circuit chips a healing ability akin to that of our own immune system-something capable of detecting and quickly responding to any number of possible assaults in order to keep the larger system working optimally.
The power amplifier they devised employs a multitude of robust, on-chip sensors that monitor temperature, current, voltage, and power.
The information from those sensors feeds into a custom-made application-specific integrated-circuit (ASIC) unit on the same chip, a central processor that acts as the 'brain' of the system.
The brain analyses the amplifier's overall performance and determines if it needs to adjust any of the system's actuators¿the changeable parts of the chip.
Interestingly, the chip's brain does not operate based on algorithms that know how to respond to every possible scenario. Instead, it draws conclusions based on the aggregate response of the sensors.
Looking at 20 different chips, the team found that the amplifiers with the self-healing capability consumed about half as much power as those without, and their overall performance was much more predictable and reproducible.

Samsung Galaxy S IV to feature a 3D Camera?

Samsung Galaxy S IV to feature a 3D Camera?

s4Samsung has filed for a pair of patents regarding 3D Video/Image capturing and a new Panorama Camera System. Samsung mainly filed for a patent of its Trademark Logo for a 3D Camera and a patent that covers a new panoramic camera lens, the new Panorama Camera system would improve image quality and some special lens specific features. This is a coincidence or the Galaxy S IV could feature a camera sensor capable of capturing 3D Videos and 3D Images.
These patents could actually be for the next generation Galaxy Camera or a Tablet or a high-end standalone camera and the list goes on and on, there are endless possibilities. But we have noticed one thing, the number “4″ in Samsung Galaxy S IV’s teaser poster is in 3D which could mean that the Galaxy S IV could actually use these technologies. We will know everything very soon as Samsung will be annoucing the Galaxy S IV on March 14th in New York, USA.

Hrithik and Kareena To Share Screen In KJO's Next Project

Hrithik and Kareena To Share Screen In KJO's Next Project

If things go according to plan, Karan Johar will score a casting coup of sorts with his screen adaptation of Amish Tripathi's bestseller, The Immortals Of Meluha.

It was earlier confirmed that Hrithik Roshan will play Lord Shiva in the film, titled Shuddhi. The buzz now suggests Karan has approached Kareena Kapoor Khan for the role of Sati.

Hrithik and Kareena last worked together in Sooraj Barjatya's 2003 dud, Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon, after co-starring in Yaadein, Mujhse Dosti Karoge! and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.

The two stars are not known to have shared great vibes subsequently, which is the reason cited for their not doing any more films together.

Rumours suggest the Hrithik-Kareena tiff was an outcome of a short fling they had at one point. So, after completing their pending projects together, the two steered clear of each other.

All that could change if Karan has his way. News doing the rounds suggests Karan wants Kareena, currently among his closest buddies in the industry, to do the film. However, if Kareena is not available, Karan might approach Deepika Padukone.

The film is scheduled for a Diwali 2014 release.

Update Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000 to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Official Firmware

Update Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000 to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Official Firmware

Galaxy-Note-GT-N7000-Android-4.1.2-JB-Update
Samsung started the Jelly Bean update roll out for a host of devices back in September last year. The Galaxy Note 2 was the first device from the manufacturer to be released with Android Jelly Bean firmware out of the box. The OEM later pushed the new version of the OS to the Galaxy S3.  At that time very few of us expected that the update will hit the old best-sellers like the Galaxy S2 and Note. The Facebook page of Samsung Sweden was the first to leak the news that these two phones would be getting the JB update. The news was taken merely as a rumor but it was confirmed later when Samsung released the details of the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update.
The release date for the new update was postponed several times and the wait seemed to be perpetual. But now all anxiety has finally been put to an end as Samsung has started pushing the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update for the Galaxy Note International version with model number GT-N7000.
The  Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OTA update has already started rolling out via Kies and on-device-software update feature. The Galaxy Note users in Hong Kong, Germany, and Mexico have reported getting the new update.

How to Install:

Installing an Official firmware on a Samsung Galaxy device is very easy and if you have ever done it, you can do it easily within a few minutes. If you belong to the countries mentioned above, the installation via Odin should take around three minutes. But if it is not so, it might take about 5 minutes. We’ll recommend a data factory reset via Stock Recovery after the firmware is installed, otherwise you might confront minor issues like connectivity, lagginess, etc. If you phone is rooted, it will be a good idea to backup all your apps using Titanium Backup or Koush’s Carbon app.
Before proceeding to install the firmware, do these things:
  • Charge your GalaxyNote to at least 60% of battery level.
  • Backup your contacts, messages, apps etc.
  • Turn on the USB Debugging mode on your phone: Settings> Developer Options> USB Debugging
Having made the preparations instructed above, follow the following steps:
  1. Download the appropriate firmware file from above and extract the zip on your desktop.

  3. Download and extract Odin3_v3.04.zip.
  4. Put your Galaxy Note  in Download Mode: turn off the phone, press and hold Volume Down+Home buttons and then long press the Power key for a few seconds till the screen turns up and you see a screen asking you to press the Volume Upkey to continue. Press it.download-mode
  5. Run the Odin program by double clicking the Odin3_v3.04.exe.
  6. Connect you phone to computer using the USB Cable.
  7. The ID:COM port at Odin turns blue  and you can see “Added!!’ text at the message box below. This show that the connection between phone and Odin has been established.
  8. Make sure that only the “Auto Reboot” and “F Reset Time” options are checked on Odin.
  9. Click on PDA button and select the file with .tar.md5 extension inside the firmware folder.

  11. When it is done, you will see a “PASS!” message at the ID:COM and the device will reboot automatically. You can now disconnect the USB cable and close the Odin window.
The first boot will take a little longer time that usual so you need to be patient till your phone gets ready to b used. In case, your phone id caught into a bootloop and it does not start, do as directed here.
